Ladies and Gents!
I have decided to not comment on tonights Oscar nominees and winners due to my anger crossing the red line. I am currently fuming with anger due to politics, patriotism, and pro Americans which impacted the Oscars.
I will get back to you once my steam cools off and tell you why I think I will doubtfully stop watching the Oscars for the coming year.
As a filmmaker & as an audience, I am insulted. I feel betrayed and crushed. As a middle eastern ethnicity and someone who lived through the Iraq war (Iraq VS Kuwait + Iraq VS Americans), I believe The Hurt Locker was nothing but pure average entertainment, and a well done picture AS WELL as it's a good movie to rent to catch up on the Americans version of media/news in regards with the war in Iraq with a touch of personal lead character's developing story about a man who is disconnected with his family, and takes no measures and all risks to throw his life away in the name of War and sacrifice for his country.
Avatar deserved the best directing and best picture award. & I will not go on to say why, I believe it is pretty darn obvious.
Thank you for reading.
